Useful Tips

Take control of the security of your accounts and money. Always follow these 6 basic tips.

Passwords

Protect your accounts, phone, and mobile banking applications with strong, long, and unique passwords. Never share your password or PIN. The Bank will never ask you for this information.

Unexpected Messages

Be cautious with unexpected emails or text messages (SMS, Viber, WhatsApp), as well as with any requests they may contain (such as clicking a link or providing details about your accounts and cards). The Bank will never ask you to send such information, nor will legitimate online merchants.

Online Payment

Make online payments only on verified websites. Never open offers via links received in messages or emails. Always use Google or other trusted sources to find the legitimate website, offer, or promotion.

Cards and mBanking Application

Pay attention to the security of your cards and mobile phone. Do not carry written PINs together with your cards or devices. If you lose your card or mobile phone with the mBanking application (or if they are stolen), notify the Bank immediately.

E-Banking

When using E-Banking, always log in from a trusted computer. After finishing, make sure to log out of your account.

Unknown Transactions

If you notice any unusual, suspicious, or unknown transactions on your accounts, even a small one (e.g. EUR 3.99), call our Call Centre immediately.
